The 2.5 mm thickness allows for an ideal balance between direct handlebar contact and effective shock absorption. The material is naturally soft but highly durable and able to withstand frequent use without sacrificing comfort. While the gel backing serves as an additional buffer that absorbs annoying vibration from the road, the textured surface finish provides a tactile experience with a high degree of grip, whether you are cycling with or without gloves.
